Melton Thai Boxing & Combat Sports is situated within a dedicated martial arts center of excellence 'Jubilee Sports, Martial Arts and Fitness Center', situated in the historic market town of Melton Mowbray. The center is a very welcoming, fun, and friendly environment, with safety, good technique, and your satisfaction being the priority.

Melton Thai Boxing has origins that go back to the 80's, when Assistant Kru Sy Pryor's Dad ran the club, training local fighters to great success.

The club has now been rekindled, and In association with Melton Traditional Judo, we offer you the opportunity to learn traditional Muay Thai, K1, Boxing, Lethwei, Submission Grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), with kids and adult classes held weekly.

Boxing training is carried out at our training center, Jubilee Sports in Melton Mowbray, and one other local location for ring craft and sparring.

MMA is also carried out at our Melton training center in conjunction with Melton Traditional Judo Club. Incorporating Freestyle Wrestling, Trad Judo, Thai Boxing, and Submission Grappling.

K1 training is held at the Melton training center, and we have established training links with a top Kickboxing gym in Amsterdam Holland (Mikes Gym) where we try to visit each year.

The clubs Thai Boxing lineage follows a traditional path that leads back to the origins of the art within the UK through Grand Masters Toddy and Sken.

Our Muay Thai Camp in Bangkok Thailand is overseen by Great Grand Master Sitiwatjana (Toddy), and gradings are formally recognised and registered with the Thai Government (There is no requirement or expectation for adult students to grade).

We try to visit our camp in Bangkok at least once each year for training, gradings, and fights. The next trip will be in 2019 to the camps newest location, which is a floating river gym in Petchaburi, 120km from Bangkok.

We are also making links to a traditional Lethwei Camp in Yangon Myanmar (Burma) and expect to visit them in the very near future.

It should be noted that there is no expectation for adult students to grade, or, enter into competitions, please feel free to train for self defence and fitness, although a fighter programme is available for those that want it.

Throughout the year the club competes on many top full contact open events around the UK, as-well as promotions such as MMA, Muay Thai Grand Prix (MTGP), and Bare Fist Boxing Association, with plans to expand the area of competition to Holland, Thailand and Myanmar in 2019
